are you preparing us a surprise go launcher version that includes all of things we wanted. For many months you dont add
anything new that users want. Mostly effects, transitions, all you give.
Great App! Suggestion: It would be nice if we could sort the apps inside folders. We cannot currently do that or even manually rearrange them. Thanks!

Version 2.61 works well. The changelog for version 2.62 of section 4 “(Improve) Zoom transition When opening apps.” Since then zoom transition is not smooth.
Add the options to enable or disable the default android opening animation. This problem also occurred in other people.
Because of the problem using version 2.61. Besides this the perfect launcher.

Once again not much of an update, hardly worth the bother. Please don’t get me wrong this is still a great launcher,I have it installed on my ROM and the performance is magical with no lag at all.

There are no real improvement on user experience for each recent update. Just feel bloat…
Once GS2 go ICS 4.0, I will use Nova launcher instead. Thanks for the work.

And I noticed something strange I can choose as default home either Go Locker or Go Launcher Ex . Which to choose ? I think when I choose Go Launcher EX my whole phone (DEFY CM7.2) is much faster ? Any idea ?

Lite version with a lot of ideas? But everyone here has a lot of ideas. You are not alone. And GO is still lite. You just don’t know what bloated means. Try Yandex.Shell (former SPb Shell). After that bloatware that lags a lot, eats over 110mb of ram and hardly has more functionality than GO Launcher you will understand how actually lite is it.

Everyone has a lot of ideas for lite version. That’s how they made what they have. It’s lite with a lot of ideas.
No man, you don’t understand, the lite version than i’m talking, is the go launcher, with just 3 transition effects, delete the guides, delete the pictures of the go widgets,delete the go Locker, and the theme setting icon, they’re useless. AND delete the icon “preferences” and put the preferences into the Config as ADW launcher

I think, you did really good job with go launcher; I use it all the time and eventually I have a few ideas of new options:
1. more than 5 icons in dock bar (for example 7)
2. the option of changing icon size in dock bar
3. when we have widgets 4×4 there is all the time some free place between status bar and the widget

can you please fix back poping up of keyboard (focus on search field) when switching to search, like it was before 2.78. the whole idea about filtering is to make launch of apps faster. but it does not popup and spend twice more time on it, while pointing and targeting at search field.
and can you remove page indicator in vertical mode. since 2.78 it’s now constantly appears over the top of app drawer.

For some reason I think homescreen and app drawer had random transition option for a while now.
It did but now its random custom u can set it to do the transitions of your choice !
the recent builds of go launcher are getting very very bloaty. newer builds should start focusing on performance instead.
With the last release v2.78 the go widgets are superimposed please fix this problem, thanks in advance.

…You not have understend, scuse me for my bad english but i am italian andi want say that the widget are one over another, and if i use the option for resize the icons and widgets i not see more the labels of apps, instead i want see the labels of apps also with apps and widgets resized, however i send to your one email with the screenshots for understend better.
And add one option for see the icons of apps in high quality please why on my device (samsung galaxy next 5570) that have a low quality display the quality of icons is low, thanks in advance.

I think this app is the end of it life! each update more or less only the cosmetic changes. The performance issue remain unsolved! Time to start looking for alternative!
@anurag root your phone and make it a system app like I did,if you move it to sd card then each time you reboot you would have to set up all your widgets again. Been there, tried that. If you dont want to root you’re out of luck.
My favorite launcher. I am using it for both my CM7 and my CM9 phone.

please add some useful features + full ics support, adw launcher now supports hardware acceleration for certain ui elements. I dont want users to switch their launchers because of this. ics roms will be out by the end of this month for most high end smart phones. Waiting for a revamped version….

In the home add the box of selecting also in the dockbar icon, then fix the resize widget and apps option why not works correctly why with this option not see the labels of apps and instead i want see the labels of apps, and with big icons the option for resize the widgets and apps not work and i have the widgets over another widgets please fix this problems, then with big icons there a small gap over the dockbar please remove this gap and fix also this problem, then in the screen “add to screen” rename the widgets in widget without “s”, and last thing add the customization of battery icon i like gingerbread icon style of battery and add also the choose position of battery horizontal or vertical as gingerbread why i like the battery icon of gingerbread but in horizontal position, thanks in advance.

When using either Beta 2.79 1 or 2 the set as home default option does not stick…
On my DEFY CM72 this option is sticky ?

This is what I’ve been doing but after a reboot a popup asking to select a default launcher appears once again after the Home capacitive button is press…
I have this same problem but I need pre-home to be the default launched for it to work correctly maybe you can have an option that says whether go launcher checks if it’s default or not.
What about make a function to change the size of the icons in the home screen? that function already exist, but it was good if you increase more sizes.

Needs HD icons they look a lil blurry even with high quality settings on. Also natural large icons in HQ icons like MIUI. As of now they look stretch and in bad quality even on some themes that support Large icons. Also larger icon like miui. Please default dock icon size The default size not shrink version like Touchwiz and ICS launcher

Nice Launcher but on galaxy nexus (4.0.2) scrollable widgets like gmail widget doesn’t work properly. They react very slowly as does the launcher itself – homescreen transitions are sometimes laggy . In googles standard launcher everything works as normal. I have been experiencing these problems since the beginning so is a friend of mine with the same phone.
Love golauncher btw and i have been waiting for a fix since november

Big request from me would be to resolve the scrolling widget issue in ICS. To get a widget to scroll you have to hold the widget for a split second before scrolling. To little and the widget does not respond, to long and the resize/delete buttons appear. This does not happen with the stock launcher. I also had to disable toe useful ‘glide up/down’ options which work even on biog widgets making a scrollable widget unusable
i have go launcher ex on my rooted HTC sensation. the launcher is amazing, much better than HTC sense.
one bug though, once i finish airplane mode and want to return to normal usage of the phone’s sim etc, the launcher doesnt let me do so until i manually restart the phone.
please fix!

And you can try this:
long press dock icon – choose “delete” – Dock display “+” , press “+” – choose blank.
The newest version’s “set to default” option does not stick for other apps such as Home2 Shortcut. After a reboot I’m asked to select a default launcher again. I did not have this problem in the 2.78 & older builds.

Hi Your Launcher is the best launcher available now.. i have decided to switch from ADWL EX to yours
i have few comments for improvement if you dont mind.
1.ability to customize the dock icons individually.
2.ability to add reflection effect on the dock icons.
3.ability to customize number of icon to be fitted in 1 page.
4.usable grids upto the bottom layer of the screen
5.slider to switch pages, similiar to SPB shell.
thats just my 2 cents… i am a member of the XDA Developer aswell…. congrats!!

Having MAJOR problems with force closes, freezing when waking on Galaxy S II running Gingerbread. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting, and restoring to factory defaults (Go Launchers defaults, not phone). -some icons dissapear until i tap the screen

When in an app, any app, and I press the ‘back’ button to exit, I am always returned to my home screen, no matter what screen I started the app from. This is annoying, any ideas or suggestions on how to have this quit doing it? I would much prefer to simply return to the screen where I started the app from.. I did try other launchers, and they don’t do it (nut I do much prefer Go Launcher EX).
