You said you would re-allow editing the backup files in v1.8 of Go Theme Factory so that we could update again our current themes in Google Play (add/change icons, modify permissions, add other elements, etc.) and when v1.8 came out you didn’t.

Then you said you will do it in v2.0, and finally after the wait v2.9 is here and we still cannot edit our themes!!!

You cannot imagine how mad I am right now. I regret the day that I used Go Themes Factory for my GO themes instead of Eclipse.

So will you allow editing the themes of not???????

I read the readme file but I can’t make sense of the instructions.

If we can’t edit the theme files in the zip file anymore, how can we update our themes?

How does modifying the signature inside the zip change anything if we can’t modify the contents of the zips anyway?

We need to be able to,

        (1) either be able to edit the zip file ouselves (add icons, modify xmls, etc) and still be able to import it to the theme maker, like we used to before v1.7, or

        (2) update the theme with Eclipse and have a method by which we can sign an Eclipse exported gotheme version that will match the signature of the exported themes of the theme maker so as to be able to use it as an update on the Google Play Store to the previous versions that were signed with theme maker. But for Google Play to accept the update apk’s, the signatures must match the android123 signing the theme maker does to the exported themes.

        • ican says:

I know your mean. Now theme maker indeed only insist replace the signature file which match the ‘android123′ name. The only way you can export your old theme by eclipse if you know how to do.we will fix the problem in the next update.Thank you very much your recommended.
